Although not strictly relevant to the baby/pregnancy, I'm leaving in a few minutes to go here to have this done. It's easier to mentally prepare if you don't watch the eye-blink inducing cartoon. I, of course, have watched the cartoon several times.

Anyway, in the event of total blindness, please make sure that all baby toy gifts are small enough that I won't trip over them.

UPDATE: It's about 17 hours later and I can see!

Decisions, decisions.

A few things that I need to think about in the next month or so:

1.  The hospital here in town offers doula services - essentially, in my understanding, someone to make sure that I feel as happy and comfortable as possible during the whole labor process.  It sounds nice, but kind of pricey, and I have no idea if it will be worth it.  

2.  My doctor suggested that I consider planning to induce labor, maybe even a week before my due date, so we'll be sure that both the babe and I are ready to travel in July.  I'm pretty hesitant about this one (especially since I've heard rumors that she might be overly pro-induction), but I can also see the advantages.  

Any suggestions?
