Although not strictly relevant to the baby/pregnancy, I'm leaving in a few minutes to go here to have this done. It's easier to mentally prepare if you don't watch the eye-blink inducing cartoon. I, of course, have watched the cartoon several times.
Anyway, in the event of total blindness, please make sure that all baby toy gifts are small enough that I won't trip over them.
UPDATE: It's about 17 hours later and I can see!

I was going to call you and see if the surgery went well. I thought that it was happening in February. Nice choice of days, by the way. Every four years you can celebrate your ability to see. Anyway, I'm glad you've recovered. I'll talk to you later.
