Progress?

Inspired after talking with our neighbors, who are new parents themselves (they have a very cute six-month-old), Earl and I made a trek to Target and made a bit of progress on the baby's room this weekend.  We now have a rug and curtains for the room, and the curtains were enough motivation for us to put up the curtain rod.  This is the rug - very boyish, don't you think?

Donny, unfortunately, is very unhappy that there's a room in the house that's off-limits; you can see the displeasure on his face.

I'm also feeling motivated to start on a baby knitting project.  I thought about this, but settled instead on this.  I figure that a kid can never have too many blankets, and if I actually get another spurt of energy, I'll probably have some yarn left over to make a hat or two...
